What is the Day of Arafah?
The Day of Arafah is the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah and is considered the most important day of the Hajj pilgrimage — and one of the greatest days in the entire Islamic calendar. On this day, millions of pilgrims gather on the plain of Arafah to stand in worship, supplication, and remembrance of Allah from noon until sunset.
