Dua for Yawning: Dua To Recite After Yawning

In Islamic teachings, yawning is considered to be from Shaytan (Satan) and it’s recommended to suppress it as much as possible.

Reciting a dua when yawning is more than just good manners; it is a practice rooted in the Islamic teachings.

Dua for Yawning

We should try to suppress it and cover our mouth with our hand. And recite this dua after your yawn:

While reciting the dua is crucial, following proper etiquette can enhance the effectiveness of this practice:

  • Suppress the yawn: Try to stifle the yawn as much as possible.
  • Cover your mouth: Use your hand or a tissue to cover your mouth when you yawn. This helps prevent the spread of germs and shows respect to those around you.
