The camels are one of the proofs of the wonders of nature. It can withstand temperatures up to 53 degrees Celcius to minus one degree Celcius.
They can put their feet in a hot desert and can live without even drinking water!
It can put its feet in the hot desert sand for hours, it can go months without drinking water, eat cactus with big thorns, they could carry about one and a half kg on their back while walking hundreds of miles. With these extraordinary designs, camels are a wonder to zoologists.
Other animals die if they live in the same conditions as Camels
Most mammals including humans have body temperature around 36 degrees Celcius (96 degrees Fahrenheit) and if their internal temperature rises above 36.5 degrees Celcius, their internal organs began to be damaged.
The liver, kidneys, brain, and digestive system will be severely damaged if the temperature exceeding 40 degrees Celcius. And at 41 degrees Celcius, the cells of the body begin to die.
This is why the mammal’s body started to sweat and cools down by releasing the excess heat when their internal temperature rises above normal. But for camels, that would wastewater from their bodies while water is the rarest resource in the desert. For that reason, camels had special arrangements in their bodies.
In the morning they will have 34 degrees temperature, then when the weather gets very hot, their internal temperature will rise to 41 degrees. Then they are started sweating but still hold water.
They face high temperature every day
Camels survived normal temperature to high fever temperature every day. They have a system inside their body to protect the internal organs from major damage after facing a high fever every day.
The blood of camels is full of water
Camel blood is designed to contain a high amount of water. When a camel starts drinking water, they can drink about 130 liters of water in 10 minutes, which is roughly the equal of three tank fuel tanks.
If this high amount of water got drunk by other animals, excess water would enter the bloodstream.
Due to the osmotic pressure, their blood cells would swell and burst. However, camel blood cells have a unique coating to withstand much more pressure. This special blood allowing camels to drink so much water at once.
Their hump keeps their body temperature stable
The camel’s hump is a mound of fat that provides energy and nutrition for them. And water keeps all of the body’s internal processes working and the body temperature stable. After they consume enough food and water, camels may go for up to six months without food or water.
Camels are the ships of the desert, they could weigh up to 180 – 260 kg and moves with a smile on their faces. This huge and powerful creature had no reason to be calm and loyal to humans.
This independent creature could just become so vicious that no one would dare to touch it. however, they are innocent, calm, and loyal to man by breaking many rules made by evolutionists.
Camels in Quran
There will be no civilization in dessert if it’s not because God made camels suitable for human beings. Allah SWT even mentions camels amazing ability in the Quran,
Camels can chew cut plants, this unique ability is not possessed by any other animals. They could chew cactus with big thorns. If it was any other animal, the thorns of the cactus would possibly damage the gums, cheeks, and tongue.
But camels safe from all of that, they have a special arrangement inside of their mouth. There are numerous small hard finger-like arrangements inside of its mouth, this will protect them from cut wounds.
Their eyes are special!
Camels have two layers of petals in their eyes. It can keep their eyes open during dust storms in the desert. This petal arrangement works like sunglasses to protect the eyes from the scorching sun and keep eyes moist. It is also curved so it can trap dust.
