Visually Impaired 12-Year-Old Memorizes Entire Quran

Saudi Hiba Al-Safadi from the blind category completes memorization of the Holy Quran and all seven Qira’at through the Shatibiyyah method at just 12 years old.

Twelve-year-old Hiba Al-Safadi, who is visually impaired, has memorized the entire Quran.
She mastered all seven Quranic recitations using the Shatibiyyah method.
Her achievement was highlighted during the 27th King Salman Local Competition.

From the 27th edition of the King Salman Local Competition for the Holy Quran, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.

Twelve-year-old Hiba Al-Safadi, a contestant from the blind category, has successfully completed the memorization of the entire Holy Quran, mastering all seven recitations (Qira’at) through the Shatibiyyah method with full transmission and understanding.

Despite her visual impairment, Hiba showed extraordinary dedication and skill, proving that physical limitations are no barrier to excelling in the memorization and mastery of Quran.

Hiba described her participation in the King Salman Local Competition as a defining moment in her journey with the Holy Quran.

The competition, organized annually by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, provides a platform for memorizers of the Quran from various categories, including special needs participants, to showcase their talents and dedication to the Book of Allah.

Hiba’s success serves as an inspiration to others, demonstrating that sincere commitment and divine support can overcome any obstacle.
