Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced Wednesday that pilgrims can now use the Nusuk app without internet data, credit, or packages.
This is made possible through a collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s three major telecommunications providers: STC, Zain, and Mobily.
Pilgrims and Umrah performers gain unrestricted access to Nusuk’s digital services:
- Real-time guidance at the Two Holy Mosques
- Navigation tools for holy sites
- Electronic permits and ritual support
- Emergency assistance and event schedules
Pilgrims can download or update the Nusuk app from their device’s store and begin using features like interactive maps, queue status at entry gates, and multilingual help desks.
The Ministry and telecom partners stressed that data-free access applies only to the Nusuk domain and that standard data rates will apply for other apps and websites.
