Carpets in Masjid Al-Haram spans an impressive 200 kilometers in total. The new carpets are made up of 33,000 high-quality carpets crafted in Saudi Arabia.

These luxurious carpets, which come in sizes of 1.2 meters by 4 meters and 1.2 meters by 3 meters, are built to withstand the heavy foot traffic during Fridays and the busy periods of Hajj and Umrah.

Each carpet boasts a thickness of 1.6 centimeters, providing the durability and density needed for constant use in one of Islam’s holiest sites.

This installation adds to the aesthetic appeal of the mosque and ensures that the prayer areas remain comfortable and safe for millions of worshipers.
