Sinead O'Connor Converts to Islam

Sinead O’Connor, a famous Irish singer has declared she has converted to Islam, stated BBC News. Sinead, who is well known for her 1990 hit variety of the song Nothing Compares 2 U, publicized she has altered her name to Shuhada. In a note on Twitter, she thanked associated Muslims for their backing.

Sinead O’Connor told that her choice was “the natural decision of any brainy theologian’s ride” and posted a video clip of herself reciting the Adhaan. On Thursday, An Imam from Ireland, Imam Shaykh Dr. Umaral Qadri uploaded a clip of the artist saying the Islamic statement of faith.

It is not the initial period when O’Connor, who lawfully altered her name to Magda Davitt in the year 2017, has publicly vocalized about religion. In 1992, O’Connor sparked argument after tearing up a photo of the Pope live on United States television.

About Seven years later, Sinead was intended by an independent church in Lourdes. The Catholic Church, which does not let women become priests, did not identify the ceremony.
