MADINAH: 99 women security officers have been deployed at Masjid an Nabawi to facilitate female visitors coming to the holy site.
The news has been confirmed by the director of Madinah police, Maj. Gen. Abdul Rahman Al-Mashhan, he also confirmed the deployment of the first batch.
These security personnels will also be present in the Rawdah, to facilitate the female visitors during their visit to the holy site.
The directors also confirmed that the women security officers underwent a special training to teach them how to be effective in an uncertain situation.
Previously, Female officers were also deployed at Masjid al Haram.
