MAKKAH: Fajr salah on Wednesday was delayed by half an hour as the Imam went absent. Sheikh Sudais fires the department head for not finding the substitute imam, which caused the delay in the Salah.
Sheikh Sudais also ordered the new department head to have 1 imam additional Imam as a backup. While for Muaddhin, Sheikh Sudais ordered to get 3 as a backup.
The director was fired right away by the general presidency after he came to know about the additional delay in the salah at the Prophet’s mosque.
