Visitors with Tourist Visas Can Perform Umrah Now

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah explained that tourist visa holders could register to perform Umrah.

The government responded to one of the recipients’ tweets, questioning, “Can we perform Umrah with a tourist visa?” Is it feasible to obtain Umrah’s permission before visiting the Kingdom?

In its response, the ministry confirmed that it is possible to register as a the outside pilgrim with the “Umrah” application and book for praying and Umrah after revising the situation in the application Tawakalana (immunised with 2 doses, vaccinated attempting to recover, vaccinated with the very first dose and done 14 days), emphasising that it is essential to be in the Kingdom to sign up for Umrah.
