A threatening message was chalked outside the mosque in Christchurch near Al Noor Mosque where a terrorist shot dead 52 Muslim worshippers.
The message was written outside Al Noor Mosque’s footpath yesterday and was reported by the Muslim Association of Canterbury to the Police.
The threatening message was written while the Muslims were offering Zuhr prayers.
John Price who is the District Commander took notice of this and says this issue is being taken very seriously.
Price said this message, just after Chrstichurch mosque report is very alarming.
Police have increased the security around the mosques in Chirstchurch. This is to be noted that the Al Noor Mosque was one of the mosques that were targeted on 15th March 2019 by gunman.
