During a recent meeting of the Central Hajj Committee, officials were briefed on the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s (SRCA) state of readiness for Ramadan 2025.
The SRCA is deploying significant resources to ensure the health and safety of pilgrims during the holy month.
The SRCA’s preparations include:
- Ambulatory Centers: 99 strategically located centers
- Ambulatory Vehicles: A fleet of 75 vehicles
- Medical Personnel: 789 trained staff members
- Golf Carts: 30 golf carts to navigate crowded areas
- Paramedics: 339 paramedics on duty
- Volunteers: 1400 male and female volunteers to provide assistance
The SRCA’s plan is designed to provide rapid response and high-quality medical care to pilgrims throughout Ramadan. The SRCA also utilizes translators to support ambulance calls, ensuring seamless communication for various medical situations encountered during Hajj.
These measures align with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to enhance services for guests of God. The SRCA’s preparations began at the end of the previous Hajj season to improve the quality of ambulance services.
