DUBAI: Despite facing threats to business, the owner of Huda Beauty Cosmetics expressed her support for Palestine.
Huda Kattan the founder of the famous makeup brand Huda Beauty has shown her utmost respect and solidarity with the Palestinians amid the ongoing horrific Israeli Hamas conflict in Gaza.
Huda Kattan has mocked the Israeli occupation for their unacceptable attacks and has condemned their acts despite facing a threat to her business. The 40-year-old Iraqi-American entrepreneur took her statement and views to social media to make the audience aware of the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank where the death toll has risen above 18,000.

On December 11th, the owner of the famous makeup business posted on TikTok that she was threatening to stop speaking out against Israeli attacks. She said that she was not against any particular person but was against the Israeli government as a whole and its actions and policies.
Huda was hopeful that the conflict would soon end. However, she stated that she was getting threats on her business to support the Palestinian’s affectees however she was not afraid to lose anything and is willing to risk her entire business for the sake of truth, justice, and humanity. She even stated that any individual trying to stop people from speaking for the Gazans was pro-genocide and pro-killing of innocent people
It is worth noting that Huda Kattan was a long-time supporter of Palestine even before the conflict took place. She condemned the eviction of Palestinians in Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem and also donated a huge amount of money to Human appeal and Doctors Without Borders in October 2023 to support the Palestinians.
The 40-year-old is one of the few figures who have been extremely vocal on the Gaza crisis. She launched her beauty block back in 2010 on YouTube followed by officially releasing her debut cosmetics under the same name in 2013. She now has a beauty empire worth billions of dollars.
