Ramadan 2025: Khatam Al Quran to Be Held at Two Holy Mosques on March 28

Sheikh Sudais announces from the mihrab of Masjid Al Haram that Khatam Al Quran will be held during Taraweeh prayers on the 29th night of Ramadan, corresponding to the evening of 28 March 2025, at both the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

In a special announcement from the mihrab of Masjid Al Haram, His Excellency Sheikh Abdur Rahman As Sudais revealed that the Khatam Al Quran (Completion of the Quran) ceremony will take place during Taraweeh prayers on the 29th night of Ramadan, which falls on the evening of 28 March 2025.

This event will be conducted simultaneously at both Masjid al Haram in Makkah and Masjid an Nabawi in Medina.

The Khatam Al Quran marks the completion of reciting the entire Quran.

Authorities at both mosques are making extensive preparations to ensure the ceremony runs smoothly and safely, with enhanced crowd management measures in place.

In Masjid al Haram, Khatam al Quran will be lead by Sheikh Sudais
In Masjid an Nabawi, Khatam al Quran will be lead by Sheikh Saleh Budair.
