Saudi Authority opens for individuals to apply for an Iftar permit in Masjid Al Haram.
As we know Ramadan is approaching. To every Muslim in the world, Ramadan holds a special place, during this entire month every Muslim fasts from dusk till dawn and frequently practices Islamic obligations.
Fasting is not a physical act, but it is also a spiritual one that is intended to bring people closer to Allah.

Muslims break their fast with “Iftar” which means “Break-fast” in Arabic. It is a significant meal at dawn time it is not only important from a religious perspective but also important from a health and nutrition perspective.
It also has a spiritual meaning and significance. As Muslims we believe, Allah shows special mercy and love to those who have been fasting and especially to those who have provided food for others at Iftar time.
To consider this religious importance, the Masjid Al Haram organization announced that Muslims who want to have their Iftar in the Grand Mosque can apply for a permit through an online government portal.
The portal also allows Muslims to apply for permits to pray and break their fast in Masjid Al Haram. The permits are valid for a limited period and are subject to availability. To apply for a permit, Muslims must fill out the application online and provide the necessary documents.
This news was announced by the State news agency SPA reported on Sunday. The General Authority for Affairs of the two Holy Mosques has launched an E-Portal for Muslims wanting to have Iftar in the Grand Mosque.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the general presidency’s website. They will be given options to choose between Iftar Banquets and continuing registration procedures to issue permits.
