13 Umrah pilgrims have been tested positive for coronavirus in Saudi Arabia and sent back to their country.
Oman Fathurahman, Special Hajj Acting Director for Religious Affairs Ministry’s Umrah of Indonesia, has said the pilgrims belonged to Indonesia and were sent back to their country. He further added that the cases were found in the first and second groups in Saudi Arabia from Indonesia.

Oman Fathurahman has stopped sending Indonesian pilgrims from 8th November, but he has announced on Friday, he has started giving visas again for new pilgrims from November 20th, 2020.
He further confirmed that the Indonesian government would make strict laws regarding taking safety precautions while sending umrah pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
He mentioned that the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) and Saudi Health Ministry are working together to make pilgrimage much safer for visitors to the twin holy mosques.
According to the Indonesian authorities, the government will make sure everyone [who departs for pilgrimage] tests negative before booking their flight to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umran of Indonesia will ensure that the travel agencies comply with all measures in the ministerial decree No. 719/2020 for Umrah pilgrimage during a pandemic.
