Malaysian railway operator Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has announced a 30 percent fare discount for all Electric Train Service (ETS) routes in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan 2026.
In an official statement, KTMB confirmed that the discount will be available starting February 18, 2026.
Passengers can avail of the reduced fares by applying the promo codes NURRAMADAN or RAMADANTIBA when booking, depending on the specific train number and travel date.
Tickets can be conveniently purchased through the KITS mobile application, the official KTMB website, or via KTMB kiosk machines located at selected stations across the country.
This Ramadan promotion follows a previous discount announcement made on February 15, when KTMB offered a 20 percent discount for selected ETS trips from February 15 to 22 in conjunction with Chinese New Year celebrations and the approaching start of Ramadan.
