Javed Akhtar Says Adhan on Loudspeaker Is Discomforting, Calls for Ban

Javed Akhtar Adhan Loudspeaker Discomforting Ban

Unfortunate circumstances started to prevail when not only the traditional Hindus but artists such as Javed Akhtar are also making statements against the principles of Islam.

Indian Muslims are being oppressed by the Anti-Muslims powers present in India. Besides, India consists of more than 400 million Muslims and some locals are helping out Muslims with their basic rights too.

Belonging to the Gwalior area, Javed Akhtar is a well-known lyricist, poet, screenwriter, and Indian political activist. He has achieved Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri, the Sahitya Akademi, and five National Film Awards. The renowned artist recently uploaded a tweet and requested the higher authorities to stop the call of prayer performed with the mic.

He stated that he doesn’t have any issue with the Adhaan but, the usage of the loudspeaker may be a form of discomfort to non-Muslims. He further added that he hopes that this time they would perform it themselves.

These statements from him have hurt and irked many Muslims around the world. People say that these artists never express their thoughts concerning “Mandir Bhajan”. They do not even talk about the long rallies that chant Hindus scriptures however, they do have issues with the Muslims and their norms.

After the growth of the Hindutva group, the marginalization of Muslims increased. This happening led to the cancellation of the CAA bill and article no. 370. Consecutively, huge protests by Muslims took place throughout India.

But the Modi Government reacted towards the protestors indiscriminately. A lot of people are saying that his request for banning the Adhaan is a move from the Islam and Hindutva hatred policy.

Javed Akhtar, who was previously a Muslim, is now an atheist. He was also selected for the Parliament Upper House Rajya Sabha on the 16th of November, 2009.
