In a recent turn of events as per the decision made by the All India Rabta-e-Masajid and the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation, the mosque in Ayodhya which is India’s largest mosque will be named after Muhammad (PBUH) Mosque Muhammad Bin Abdullah.
The largest mosque is a replacement for Babri Masjid with a capacity to accommodate 9,000 worshippers. It is worth noting the property in Ayodhya was a disputed property however as per the resolution passed by the Supreme Court after 4 years the Land can be used for mosque construction.
In 2019, the Supreme Court directed the government to provide an alternative 5-acre land to construct a mosque and granted the land to Ram Janmabhoomi Trust.
The design for Masjid Muhammad Bin Abdullah was revealed at a ceremony in Mumbai, where the first brick was presented to senior positions from various sects of Islam. This event led to the discussion and finalization of the mosque’s name.
As per reports Mosque Muhammad Bin Abdullah will have five gates, named after Prophet Muhammad and the four Caliphs who succeeded him which include Abu Bakar (R.A), Umar (R.A), Usman (R.A), and Ali (R.A).
Additionally, plans are underway to buy an additional six-acre plot of land to build a cancer hospital, a maternity hospital, engineering, medicine, and law colleges, a library, a museum, a conference hall, and an information center within the mosque complex. These facilities aim to serve the underprivileged from all communities in India
Architect Imran Shaikh called upon the community to contribute through donations, labor, and skills to support the construction of these additional facilities.
The goal is to create a complex that caters to the community’s religious needs and provides essential services for society’s welfare.
The mosque will be constructed by the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation Trust on land allocated in Dhannipur village, approximately 22 km away from the original location of the Babri Masjid.
Zufar Farooqi, chairman of the UP Sunni Central Waqf Board, expressed excitement about the new design, commenting on its elegant traditional looks.
A fundraising campaign for more than Rs 300 crore has been set for the construction of the mosque, and other facilities
The construction will immediately begin as soon as the fundraising is completed, contributing to the creation of one of the most beautiful mosques in the world which will mark history.

How can we donate to the building of the mosque?
Let the office bearers of the mosque committee decide first how they will get the foreign donations. In India, there are stringent conditions for the acceptance of funds from foreign countries. However, I hope that the government will be flexible in this case because of the worldwide importance of the Babri Masjid-Ram Mandir issue. The land for the mosque has been given to the Muslims under the Supreme Court of India's order and as such I am hopeful that some positive response will emerge from the government side about accepting the donations from the Muslims of foreign countries.
Construction of the mosque with the educational institution in Ayodhya by the Muslims is not so difficult as to smoothly run the same without any controversy from within. The moment a controversy arises, the government machinery steps in and things either become more complex or unbearable interference of the third party irreparably damages the sanctity of the institution or pulls it down. What matters in India is the dearth of a national-level leader of Indian Muslims with impeccable character and high education. Indian Muslims are without a devoted Muslim leader after the late President of India Dr Zakir Hussain. Educated Muslims refrain from indulging in politics paving the way for the dolt leaders who don't do good to the Muslims cause. Let's hope the project formulated by the Muslims for the construction of the mosque, educational institutions and Information Centre moves forward smoothly. Indian Muslims should learn to run the institutions and hospitals from their Sikh brethren who run their Gurudwaras, hospitals and educational institutions without favour or fear and smoothly without any controversy.
Election is near lol.
