Saudi Arabia has revealed the names of the Imams who will lead the Eid prayer in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi. Eid al-Fitr in Saudi Arabia will be on 10th April 2024.
Imam for Eid Prayer in Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque)
- Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid
Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid will lead the Eid Salah in the Grand Mosque of Makkah, A respected and renowned scholar.
He has held the position of the Imam and Khateeb since 1984. He is also a member of the Council of Senior Scholars of Saudi Arabia and an advisor to the Royal Court.
Imam for Eid Prayer in Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet’s Mosque)
- Sheikh Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Hudhaify
Sheikh Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Hudhaifi is a prominent scholar and the imam and khateeb of the Prophet’s Mosque.
He was formerly an imam of Quba Mosque.
Timings For Eid al-Fitr Prayers
The timings for the Eid prayer are as follows:
- Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) – 6:20 AM.
- Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet’s Mosque) – 6:19 AM.
