Oman’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili, has called on Muslims to boycott Swedish products due to the burning of the Holy Qur’an on Eid Al-Adha day.
Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili, said on Twitter, “News platforms have reported that Muslim children were taken from their families forcibly.”. Despite the greatest challenge faced by the entire Islamic nation, Sweden has allowed one of its fools to burn the Holy Qur’an while being protected by security men on the day of Eid Al-Adha.”
As he added, “We wonder where Muslims are in the East and West of the world when it comes to confronting this crime?”
This great crime must be addressed in the most basic way, by boycotting this country entirely by refusing to purchase any products from it (Sweden). The Grand Mufti said all financial transactions between this country and Islamic parties, whether they involve a government, an institution, or an individual from the Islamic faith, should be terminated.
