8 Umrah Pilgrims Killed In Hotel Fire in Makkah

A fire at a hotel in Makkah resulted in the deaths of eight Pakistanis and the injuries of six others.

In response to media inquiries about casualties in the Makkah hotel fire, the Foreign Office spokesperson said, “We have reports of eight Pakistanis killed and six injured. To provide relief to those affected and their families, our Jeddah Mission is in contact with local authorities.

Initial reports indicate that the fire broke out on the third floor of the Ibrahim Khalil Road hotel.

A source reported that Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and other Umrah pilgrims stayed at the hotel.
