Jerusalem: Israeli army used force to prevent worshipers from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the occasion of Jumu’ah al-Wada ‘. More than 200 worshipers were injured.

According to the International News Agency, on the last Friday of the month of Ramadan, thousands of Palestinians gathered at Al-Aqsa Mosque to offer prayers on the occasion of Jumu’ah al-Wada ‘and prayed outside the compound.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army, demonstrating its traditional aggression, fired rubber bullets, tear gas shells and crackers at worshipers to prevent Palestinians from entering the mosque, injuring more than 200 Palestinians.

More than 200 Palestinians were injured in the stampede as unarmed Palestinians threw shoes and chairs at the Israeli army. More than a dozen injured are in critical condition and are feared dead.

Palestinian groups say the Israeli army has violated fundamental rights to worship and tortured unarmed worshipers.
