Every person faces times when life feels heavy—when wealth seems scarce, when family concerns weigh deeply, or when blessings appear distant.
One of the most beautiful duas for this comes directly from the Sunnah, where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prayed for Anas ibn Malik at his mother’s request.
The words of this supplication are simple, yet their meaning is powerful. They remind us that every gift from Allah becomes more valuable when blessed with His mercy.
Dua for Money and Children
This dua was taught to us through the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):

This supplication comes from a hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari (6344).
This dua is special because it shows the Prophet’s compassion and how much he valued asking Allah to grant not only material and family growth but also barakah, which makes blessings long-lasting and meaningful.
How to Recite this Dua
- Your wife, parent, sibling, or friend can recite this dua on your behalf if you are struggling with financial difficulties, family concerns, or loss of barakah.
Asking Allah for wealth alone is incomplete if it does not come with barakah. Wealth without blessing can disappear quickly, bring stress, or even harm a person. Similarly, children without divine blessing may not always bring peace and joy.
