The library at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi has fully reopened after a year-long renovation project. Located on the rooftop near Gate 10.
During the closure, workers upgraded climate control systems to better preserve delicate texts dating back centuries. The space now features enhanced lighting and expanded study areas while maintaining its traditional character. Digital research tools have been added to complement the physical collection.

Operating hours are from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily, with the library closed during prayer times. Special access is available for academic researchers. Library staff have implemented new crowd management measures to accommodate visitors while protecting valuable materials.
The renovation forms part of ongoing efforts to modernize facilities at the Prophet’s Mosque complex. Similar upgrades are planned for other areas of the historic site in the coming months.
