  1. The buildings chosen to accommodate Hajj pilgrims are sometimes lacking in basic necessities like hot water, sufficient working Air conditioners etc. Taps are leaking and rooms not properly ventilated. Kitchen is also very small and no sufficient toilets for the pilgrims. The lifts are also a casualty and consequently there are long queues during peak season. The ultimate sufferers are the pilgrims and there is no mechanism to file a complaint. Therefore the authorities should personally visit each and every building and should have a set of norms and guidelines before issuing the permit. They should also put in place a mechanism to rectify any shortcomings pointed out then and there. This will go a long way in ensuring a smooth stay for the guests of Allah both in Makkah and Madina.
