The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah has officially announced the launch of its volunteering initiative for the Hajj 1446 AH season.
The program invites both men and women to participate in volunteer service within the Two Holy Mosques, with the aim of investing in national talents and enhancing religious service delivery.
This initiative is being launched in coordination with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the National Center for the Non-Profit Sector.
His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs at the Two Holy Mosques, emphasized that the volunteering drive is a reflection of the high regard Islam places on voluntary work.
He stated that the Presidency has integrated structured programs for volunteer work in religious specialties, aligning with the spiritual atmosphere of the Two Holy Mosques during the sacred Hajj season.
The Presidency aims to create more than 400 new volunteer opportunities, with over 200 volunteer hours designated to serve various religious and support functions.
These roles are tailored to meet operational needs during the pilgrimage and are designed to attract a wide range of individuals across different age groups and professional backgrounds—especially those with religious qualifications.
