Vanikoy Mosque, an ancient 17th-century mosque in Istanbul has been completely destroyed after an unforgiving fire broke out.
Turkish officials have confirmed that the fire has been extinguished, with the help of Coast Guard Command.
According to the report published by Governorship of Istanbul, the fire broke out at 13:30PM (Turkish Time), located at the banks of Bosphorus in Uskudar district.
Vanikoy Mosque was built in 1665 by a Turkish scholar, Mehmet Efendi, it is made from woods. This mosque was 350-year-old.
