Taraweeh prayers suspended during Ramadan 2020 in Saudi Arabia. The news has been published in the well known Saudi Newspaper, Al Riyadh, quoting Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh, who is the Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs.
As millions of worshipers all around the world are looking forward to welcoming Ramadan 2020. The sad news has been broken by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Guidance, and Dawah. The Ministry confirmed that the prayer ban will continue during the entire Ramadan, which will also include the Taraweeh ban.
Taraweeh prayers suspended in Masjid al Haram and Masjid an Nabawi too?
Taraweeh in the two holy mosques (Masjid al Haram and Masjid an Nabawi), will happen with very selected people as general public won’t be allowed to pray Taraweeh at the two holy mosques.
But this is ensured that the Government of Saudi Arabia will keep reviewing the conditions and situation actively during Ramadan 2020.
