Outrage in Sri Lanka once again as the Government gives a node to bury Muslims who died of coronavirus on a remote Island.

Sri Lanka Muslim Congress slammed the decision to bury their loved ones on a remote island.

Before this, Sri Lanka was forcibly cremating Muslim covid-19 bodies, forced cremations later stopped on Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s request during his visit to Sri Lanka.

The Muslim world, including the United Nations, protested against Muslim victims’ forced cremation in Sri Lanka.

Right after stopping forced cremation, Sri Lankan officials ordered to bury the Muslim covid victims on the Islet of Iranaitivu, which is 13 kilometres away from the northern Sri Lankan coast.

Sri Lankan majority is Buddhists who want the burial to be similar to Hindus. The Sri Lankan government is also under the strong influence of Buddhist supremacists.
