Sheikh Sudais to Lead Eid Al-Adha 2024 Prayers in Masjid Al Haram

Sheikh Abdur Rahman As-Sudais, the esteemed Imam of the Grand Mosque, Masjid Al Haram, in Makkah, will lead the Eid Al-Adha 2024 prayers.

Sheikh Sudais is also the president of the General Presidency of the two Holy Mosques, which oversees everything including operations and preparation of the holy mosques.

Eid Al-Adha is a “Festival of Sacrifice,” one of the most significant events in the Islamic calendar. Muslims around the world celebrate this occasion, which commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) to sacrifice his son Prophet Ismail (A.S.) as an act of obedience to Allah.

The prayer led by Sheikh As-Sudais at the Grand Mosque is a focal point of the celebration, drawing millions of Hajj 2024 pilgrims.
