Saudi Arabia has introduced the Tasreeh Platform, a cutting-edge digital solution developed by the Ministry of Interior in collaboration with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), to streamline the issuance of Hajj permits for the 2025 pilgrimage.
The platform is designed to authorize both domestic and international pilgrims, as well as workers and volunteers involved in Hajj activities, to enter Makkah and the holy sites. It integrates seamlessly with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s Nusuk platform, ensuring efficient permit issuance and verification.
Tasreeh also facilitates the authorization of vehicles transporting pilgrims and support personnel, with permits accessible through the Tawakkalna app. This integration ensures transparency and ease of access for all authorized individuals and services.
Developed in partnership with government agencies serving Hajj pilgrims, the platform enhances coordination and integration among relevant authorities. It standardizes procedures, ensuring efficient management of Hajj logistics and contributing to a smoother experience for pilgrims.
The platform supports the objectives of the Doyof Al-Rahman Program, part of Saudi Vision 2030, by ensuring pilgrims can perform their rituals in comfort and security.
Security agencies at Makkah’s entrances can use the Maidan app to automatically verify permits, marking a significant advancement in technological solutions for Hajj management. This innovation reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to leveraging technology to enhance the pilgrimage experience.
Tasreeh represents a major step forward in the flexibility and speed of permit issuance, setting new standards for the future of Hajj logistics and pilgrim welfare.
