Expo City’s Ramadan District
Expo City Dubai will host the “Ramadan District,” featuring cultural events and workshops under the “Studio of Makers” program led by artist Moza Al Sabousi. These activities aim to foster creativity, preserve heritage, and strengthen community bonds during the holy month.
As Dubai prepares for Ramadan, the return of the Iftar cannons and the accompanying cultural initiatives promise to enrich the spiritual and communal experience for all.
The announcement was made at a press conference held at Expo City Dubai, attended by key officials including Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations at Dubai Police, and Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Taresh Al Ameemi, Commander of the Ramadan Iftar Cannons.
Afra Al Suwaidi, Senior Director of Strategy and Planning at Expo City Dubai, also highlighted the return of the “Ramadan District,” a cultural hub celebrating Emirati heritage.
