Public Security issued a notice urging pilgrims and visitors not to sit in the corridors or courtyards of Masjid al-Haram.

The department said messages in multiple languages were distributed across arrival points and information channels to warn that sitting in passageways blocks movement and disrupts rituals.

Officials said blocked routes make it harder for worshipers to complete Tawaf and Sa‘i, and raise the risk of crowding at doors and narrow points.

The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque joined the appeal, calling on worshipers to respect general etiquette, refrain from pushing, and leave the circumambulating and Sa‘i areas clear.

Officials said cooperation with security staff helps maintain order and reduces delays for everyone inside the mosque.

Pilgrims needing assistance may approach help desks or speak to roaming teams for support rather than stopping in passageways.
