A new children’s day care center is under construction within the holy mosque complex. The facility, located near Women’s Washroom Number 4 (WC 4), is set to provide parents with a safe and comfortable space for their children, allowing them to focus on their prayers and religious activities.
The day care center is designed to offer families a convenient solution as they perform Umrah, Hajj, or daily prayers at the mosque. The center will feature child-friendly amenities and professional caretakers, ensuring children are well looked after in a safe, nurturing environment.
According to project officials, this initiative aims to support the increasing number of families visiting the mosque and accommodate the needs of mothers and fathers who may find it challenging to engage in worship while managing young children.
“Our vision is to provide peace of mind for parents who bring their children to Masjid al Haram. We want them to have a reliable space where their children can be cared for” an official stated.
Once completed, the day care center will offer play areas, resting zones, and basic childcare services designed to accommodate the unique requirements of a religious site.
Location
Visitors will find it conveniently located next to Women’s Washroom Number 4, making it accessible to families as they navigate the mosque grounds.
The new center is expected to be operational soon.
