The agency managing Masjid an-Nabawi’s parking facilities has announced a fully digital registration process for Ramadan 2025.
Pilgrims can now secure parking subscriptions via a dedicated online link, eliminating the need for physical queues or paperwork.
This will reduce overcrowding and improve efficiency during Islam’s busiest pilgrimage season.
Authorities highlighted that the move directly addresses long-standing complaints about last-minute rushes and chaotic on-site registrations.
Subscribers will receive confirmation via SMS or email once slots are booked. The link is expected to go live a week before Ramadan begins, with priority given to families and elderly visitors.
Over 10 million worshipers visit the Prophet’s Mosque annually during Ramadan, creating logistical challenges.
A spokesperson told the Saudi Press Agency: “This system ensures fairness and simplifies access for international pilgrims.” Local residents praised the decision, calling it “a relief” amid rising foot traffic.
