Malaysia To Deport Zakir Naik After He Asked For Ethnic Cleansing Of Chinese Minorities

Malaysia is in serious tension as Islamic Scholar Zakir Naik promoted ethnic cleansing of Chinese minorities in Malaysia, Malaysia is now thinking to deport Zakir Naik back to India.

Two Malaysian ministers have told Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad at a cabinet meeting that such dialogues can create a chaos in the country.

Minister Gobind Singh Deo of Communications and Multimedia and Minister M Kulasegaran of Human Resource have said that Zakir Naik should not be allowed to remain in Malaysia.

But now it is Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad’s call to whether deport or not to deport Zakir Naik from Malaysia.

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad is taking his time to solve this situation but the Malaysian media has not given any details on this.

Zakir Naik was given permanent residency after Saudi Arabia and India had deported him. For the last three years, Zakir Naik has been living in Malaysia.

He also created a lot of public outcries after he said that Hindus of South Asia is 100 times superior to Muslim minorities in India, and claimed that he supports Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India and not the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Al Jazeera Reported.

Dialogues on religion and race are considered highly sensitive in Malaysia, remarks of ethnic cleansing of Chinese minorities in Malaysia is something very severe in Malaysia.

Muslims are making up about 60 percent of Malaysia’s 32 million people. The rest are ethnic Chinese and Indians, most of them are Hindus.
