Makkah’s hospitality industry must comply with strict commands from the Tourism Ministry to maintain security and order during the Hajj 2025 season.

Hotels and related facilities are prohibited from housing individuals without a valid Hajj permit or official entry permit for work or residence. This policy will be implemented starting from Dhul Qada 1, 1446 (April 29, 2025), and will stay active until the Hajj season ends.

From April 29 onward, the Ministry of Interior stated that anyone with visas other than a Hajj visa will be barred from entering or staying in Makkah. This action is part of a comprehensive plan to ensure the safety and well-being of pilgrims.

The Tourism Ministry emphasized that all hospitality establishments must strictly follow these regulations. Non-compliance will result in legal consequences as per the rules set for the 2025 Hajj season.

Authorities urge full cooperation with relevant agencies to maintain order and safeguard pilgrims. These initiatives aim to optimize Hajj logistics and preserve the sanctity of the pilgrimage.
