Madinah Opens Permit Applications for Hajj 2026 Pilgrim Housing

Property owners and investors urged to apply early and meet all regulatory standards to prepare for the 1447 AH pilgrimage season

MADINAH – The Hajj Housing Committee in Madinah has officially announced the start of permit issuance for residential buildings intended to house pilgrims during the Hajj season of 1447 AH / 2026 CE.

In its statement released today, the committee called on property owners and investors to submit their applications via the official electronic platform or follow instructions shared on verified social media channels.

The committee stressed the importance of:

  • Meeting technical and administrative requirements,
  • Adhering to approved safety and regulatory controls, and
  • Submitting applications on time to ensure proper review and approval.

Officials emphasized that these steps are part of a broader effort to regulate the pilgrim housing sector, ensure compliance with safety standards, and raise Madinah’s preparedness to welcome pilgrims with secure and well-managed accommodations.

To enhancing the Hajj experience, ensuring that all pilgrims are offered safe, comfortable, and well-organized lodging during their spiritual journey, in accordance with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
