Iraqi Pilgrim Rescued at Masjid Al Haram After Cardiac Arrest

An Iraqi pilgrim experienced cardiac arrest at Masjid Al Haram, but quick action by Red Crescent teams revived him, and he was transported to Al-Haram Hospital where his pulse was restored after several attempts.

In Masjid Al Haram, an Iraqi pilgrim suffered a cardiac arrest during his visit. The situation escalated quickly, but rapid intervention by the Red Crescent teams proved lifesaving. Emergency responders immediately began resuscitation efforts at the mosque and successfully revived the man.

Once his condition stabilized, the patient was transported to Al-Haram Hospital via dedicated emergency services. At the hospital, medical staff continued intensive resuscitation efforts, and after several attempts, the pilgrim’s pulse returned.

Authorities at Masjid Al Haram and the Red Crescent have commended the swift and coordinated response of the emergency teams, whose prompt actions were critical in saving the pilgrim’s life.
