Shawwal moon is not sighted in India and Bangladesh. Eid al-Fitr will be on Thursday 11th of April 2024. Muslims in India and Bangladesh will keep their 30th fast for this Ramadan.

The National Moon Sighting Committee at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque decided to review the reports, headed by Religious Affairs Minister Faridul Haque Khan.
As of today, April 9, 2024, the Islamic Foundation has called to look for the Shawwal moon today.
India
Muslims in India will celebrate Eid al-Fitr on April 11, 2024 (Thursday) as the moon did not sight in India, Maulana Khalid Rashid Firangi Mahli confirms. Imams of Delhi’s Jama Masjid and Fatehpuri mosque also confirmed the news.
Lucknow’s Markazi Chand Committee also confirmed that the moon was not sighted.
