WEST BENGAL: Partha Sarthi Basu’s family has been caring for a mosque in West Bengal for about 50 years as a symbol of communal harmony.
About 25 kilometers away from Kolkata, Amanati Masjid is located in Barasat, a city in West Bengal.
Hundreds of people now pray at the mosque maintained by Partha and his family.
In Ramadan, the family breaks bread with Muslim families and is praised by everyone for their deeds, which shows the strong bond of brotherhood and harmony among citizens.
It is Partha’s family’s pride that the Mosque exists, and the family continues to inspire its neighbors to cultivate peace, love, and harmony in society.
