First female official Laila bint Hamad Appointed in the Saudi Ministry of Religious Affairs

For the first time, a woman has been appointed as an official in the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Saudi Arabia.

On Sunday, the country’s Minister of Religious Affairs. Abdul Latif Ale Shaykh confirmed the information.

The woman’s name was Dr.  Laila bint Hamd Al Qasim. She has been appointed as the Secretary of the Planning and Digitalization Department of the Ministry of Religion.

At the same time, she will be responsible for improving the ministry, ensuring improved customer service and transparency.

She has been appointed to this post for a full year.  She was appointed to Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance to implement Vision 2030.
