WASHINGTON – A famous Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has stepped forward and made a donation of PKR 15 million to help Gaza with medical and food supplies.
The donation comes as Gaza has been ripped apart by Israeli bombing for more than two weeks now.
He handed over the amount to Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, which is a charitable organization operating in Pakistan that actively works to help the Palestinian people. The organization also shared the news on their Instagram.
Gaza is currently in dire need of food and medical supplies as half of the hospitals in Gaza have been bombed, inlcuding world’s second oldest church and countless historical mosques in the region. Currently, doctors in Gaza are fighting for the lives of patients, which is only possible with such donations.
Atif Aslam also recorded his protest against unlawful Israeli bombings on Gaza on his official Instagram.
