The Madinah Health Cluster introduced an ambulance scooter service at the Prophet’s Mosque at the start of Ramadan 2025.
Designed specifically to support emergency operations within the mosque’s extensive grounds, the agile ambulance scooter facilitates quick intervention for critical and emergency cases.
Its mobility ensures that paramedics can maneuver through crowds of worshipers and visitors, providing immediate medical attention before transferring patients to nearby healthcare facilities.
Since its launch at the beginning of Ramadan, the ambulance scooter service has already attended to 91 cases.
The Madinah Health Cluster confirmed that all patients requiring further treatment were promptly transferred to central health facilities, including Al-Salam Endowment Hospital, Al-Haram Hospital, and urgent care centers at Al-Safiya and Bab Jibril.
