Idlib: An airstrike by Bashar al-Assad’s army in Syria killed eight civilians, including six children, and wounded 16 others.
According to the international news agency, clashes between militants and security forces continue in Idlib, the last stronghold of ISIS in Syria.
Bashar al-Assad‘s air force bombed the southern part of Jabal al-Zawiyah, destroying several houses, killing five members of the same family in one house on the spot, while three others died in hospital.
The dead included six children and two women. Residents have had to spend the night in the open since the houses were destroyed. Intermittent explosions can be heard in the area.
Russian planes have been bombing the area of Idlib for the past week, forcing most residents to live in refugee camps.
It should be noted that more than 500,000 people have been killed in clashes in war-torn Syria since 2011, while more than one million people are living in refugee camps.
