His Excellency the General President of the Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque Affairs, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, has lauded the impressive efforts of success partners Duraya Company and SWB Technical Development Company.
Working with a dedicated team of more than 15 engineers and developers, the companies accomplished the project in a record three months.
In addition, they collaborated with several consulting firms to ensure that the solutions delivered were both sophisticated and accurate.
Speaking at the launch, Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais emphasized, “The Presidency is serious about investing in modern technology and artificial intelligence to upgrade enrichment services as a central pillar of our strategy. By promoting smart robots to guide pilgrims and visitors on performing rituals, and by providing electronic fatwas in line with Islamic Sharia, we aim to offer a seamless and respectful experience. Our approach is guided by the principles of facilitation, tolerance, and adherence to authentic texts and consensus.”
This innovative prototype is part of a broader digital transformation initiative under the framework of Vision 2030.
The wise leadership has prioritized technological advancement to ensure comfort and enhance services for all visitors to the Haramain Sharifain.
The new system serves as an effective tool to communicate the message of moderation and unity across diverse cultures and languages.
