4,700 Worshipers Performing Itikaf In Masjid an-Nabawi During Ramadan 2024

Medical care, security, and food are being provided to the Prophet’s mosque (Masjid al-Haram).

The General Authority of Masjid an-Nabwi has said that the worshippers are being provided with iftar and suhoor meals regularly.

Separate places are allocated for male and female worshippers within the Prophet’s mosque. 4,700 people have been observing the itikaf; 700 of these are women, and the rest are men.

An associated security agency is in charge of protecting the Itikaf region and inspecting permits, with special gates set up to allow holders entry.
