2024 Arafat Sermon To Be Translated into 50 Languages

This year’s Arafat sermon will be broadcast in 20 different languages and will cater to 1 billion people worldwide.

The project is set to reach a wider audience. Previously, the Hajj sermon is usually broadcast in Arabic. With the help of this project, a wider audience would be able to listen and understand the sermon in their respective languages.

With the introduction of 50 languages, the 2024 Arafat sermon will reach 1 billion people from all around the world.

  5. Hausa

  7. Turkish
  8. Punjabi
  9. Chinese
  10. Malay
  11. Swahili
  12. Spanish
  13. Portuguese
  14. Amharic
  15. German
  16. Swedish
  17. Italian
  18. Malayalam
  19. Bosnian
  20. Filipino

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais will oversee the broadcast.

Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, president of the general presidency, stated that the project, named after King Salman, seeks to emphasize Islam’s core values of religious tolerance, moderation, and peace.
