Makkah: While talking to the symposium “The efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” Dr. Abdul Rehman Al Sudais, General Presidency of the two holy mosques, has told that the coronavirus pandemic has not reached the two holy mosques.
The two Holy mosques’ management has been quick to handle the pandemic and care of pilgrims in the best possible way.
The only places in the world where Coronavirus has not been reached is Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an Nabawi.
This was possible due to the Saudi health authorities’ adequate measures to keep the holy sites safe from the Coronavirus pandemic with Allah’s will.
Umrah and regular prayers have been resumed in mosques, Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) in Makkah and Masjid a Nawabi (Prophet’s Mosque) Madinah.
Worshippers who wish to worship would require a proper medical check-up before entering the mosque. For Umrah pilgrims, the Coronavirus vaccine has been made mandatory.
